Mommy Must Have #2

Hi,

Yes, I know, it’s been a while. So you probably have caught on that I am not the best at social media. I  am really trying but wow, I wonder how people keep up?!

Anywho, so let’s talk pacifiers, binkies, or as we called it teetas (don’t ask). There are so many different opinions and thoughts on pacifiers. Some say, don’t use them because they may cause nipple confusing or what not. In my opinion, pacifiers are much easier to take away then thumbs.  My own experiences are what I will be referring to because that is all I know. <– Disclaimer

So I tried so many different pacifiers to avoid that UGLY, round monstrosity of a pacifier that they give you at the hospital! Well guess what…that was the one my kids loved! I mean, look at those things….they are huge! And you can see through them. Nevertheless, they worked. The Soothie pacifier became an item at our house, you could find one in every room, or two if you had twins like us!

They even work on your newborn session.

Paci

I stock up on these. I have them at the studio just in case. I completely respect and understand if your decision is to not use a pacifier but what I like to tell my clients is, your baby will not get hooked on the pacifier while they are at the studio. It will, however, make your session run a little smoother if baby isn’t sleeping while on the shoot.  After you leave me, you can toss that thing right away…or you might want it to get a few extra hours of sleep.

Extra little bonus, some smell like vanilla and it really brings back memories.

Comment below and leave me your thoughts! Did you have luck with the Soothie Pacifier?
