Women.

Deena here, it’s been sometime since I posted a blog. Trying to keep up socially, both IRL and on the internet is exhausting. But since it was International Women’s Day yesterday, I thought I would share how I feel about these outstanding women who come into my studio.

Being a woman, and doing what I do, never really phased me. It was just what I did. Have the careers, the hobbies that turn into careers, find your soulmate, have the babies, raise them and don’t forget who you are. Travel the world, and yes…Disney. Stay a good friend, daughter, and sister.

Then, I meet my clients…the ones who do all that, and more. The inspirations, the struggles, the hopes and the happy endings. You all mean the world to me. If you have stepped into my studio and shared your story, just know that you have made an impact on me. This is why I strive to give you something that can reflect what you have given to me.

I sometimes have to say out loud, “I am a perfectionist”. It’s not because this shot isn’t beautiful, it’s because I know I can make it perfect. It’s what you deserve. The world can throw so much at us that the least I can do, it give you something that is perfect.

That’s all, just felt the need to share.
